Scope of Practice: Please note, my part-time private practice is not set up to handle the needs of persons in crisis. My work with personality trait sensitivity relies on insight and has the best outcomes with clients who are functioning and motivated to grow. If you have an active substance abuse problem, are at risk for domestic violence, or have current suicidal thoughts, those are crisis situations: If you are experiencing an immediate mental health crisis, call 2-1-1 for assistance. If you are seeking to initiate therapy with a community provider during times of crisis, I am glad to provide you with contact information from my list of trusted colleagues. If you want to work with me at a later time to address the role of sensitivity in your life, I am glad to discuss that with you then.
Confidentiality. Your confidentiality is fully protected in our work together. To ensure the quality of your care, I participate in continued education and periodic peer consultation. During consultations, identifying client information is removed.
